We are excited to introduce Dr. Ajay Mattu, O.D., a therapeutic optometrist who has been proudly serving the East Texas community since graduating from optometry school. With a deep commitment to patient care, community health, and multilingual support, Dr. Mattu brings a unique perspective to our team. His ability to provide eye care in English, Spanish, and Punjabi ensures that more patients receive the care they need in a language they understand.

During his undergraduate years, Dr. Mattu was actively involved in Delta Epsilon Psi, a fraternity focused on raising awareness for juvenile diabetes. This experience deepened his commitment to public health and community outreach.
After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Mattu attended InterAmerican University, where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry in 2021. While in optometry school, he took the initiative to learn Spanish, further expanding his ability to serve diverse communities. Today, he proudly offers eye care in three languages: English, Spanish, and Punjabi.
