She cared for underserved populations with complex ocular diseases at an inner-city charity clinic in Dallas, TX, and managed general optometry and routine eye health at a primary care practice in San Antonio, TX. Her in-house rotations at UHCO included various specialty clinics, such as vision therapy, neuro-ophthalmology, specialty contact lenses, ambulatory surgery center for pre- and post-operative care, pediatric care, and low vision. This broad exposure has prepared her to manage a wide range of eye conditions, from routine vision care to complex ocular diseases.

Dr. Hardin grew up in White Oak, Texas, and her East Texas roots drive her passion for serving the community. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas, where she served as President of the Pre-Optometry Club and tutored Organic Chemistry, she returned to the region to practice optometry.
